Employer Failing to Withhold Support

A parent receiving child support as the option to have the payor’s employer withhold the support directly from the payer’s income.  The Illinois Withholding Act provides for penalties against the employer should the employer fail to abide by the Withhold Notice.  There is a 1 yr statute of limitations on these matters and thus an individual facing an issue with an employer should contact Masters Law Group immediately.
